The Potential of Billboards

I've noticed a lot of crappy billboards lately. By crappy I mean completely unremarkable. You would think with all the technology we have at our disposal today they would be pretty cool, right? Nope. Podcasting at the Gym

Recently I read an article at Podcasting News about a company that is integrating iPods into their equipment. Pre-Tipping

The other day I was speaking with my Uncle Jack about our experiences with restaurant servers. Now, I speak with some knowledge on this matter as I was a server for a dozen or so years, and I have to tell you there are very few GREAT servers out there.

There ARE many very good servers, don’t get me wrong. Some of the skills a very good server must have are:

1. good sales skills (to increase check average)
2. ability to read people quickly (when to chat and when to leave guest alone)
3. multi-tasking/time management skills (6 tables or 15 people at a time)
4. good short term memory (what drinks go to which person?)

So what is the difference between a very good server and a GREAT server? Read More....
